From 1970 to 1979 I was rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Racine, and during that time, was often a week day celebrant in the chapel. Also, several years, I was summer camp chaplain. Sister Letitia was always the one with a gracious smile, an energetic mind, a healthy body, and a generous grace for one and all. She cut a wide swath. My life is blessed because we walked in similar paths for the decade 1970-1979. I enjoyed reading the history of the order of St. Mary “Ten Decades of Praise.” Sister Letitia always smiled graciously when suggested the sequel could be “ten years of chaos.” May she rest in peace and rise in glory. I am honored to be an associate of the community of St. Mary.
