Nancy was funny, smart, generous, sometimes outrageous, and much more complicated than that.
She had so much to share about her opera, musical theater and cabaret experiences in New York and around the world. I was inspired to help her arrange a lunch date with my ex (boyfriend) in Chicago, an opera professional with a New York backround and remarkably similar tastes and theater experiences. She met for a winter-time lunch while on one of her theater junkets to Chicago, wearing her mink cape, and announcing herself as the mother of my twins … the luncheon took off from there. I received an enthusiastic text later that day from my ex.
This is a shock. Nancy will be missed.
