Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday April 24, 2002 at age 64. Loving husband of Doris nee Brickler. Devoted father of Jeffrey Behr, Mark Shannon Behr and Michael Theresa Behr. Proud Grandpa Alexander Alan Behr. Son of the late Herbert and the late Catherine Behr. Brother of Karen the late Allan Fossell and David Behr. Brother-in-law of the late DonaldPhyllis Brickler, Betty William Stewart, Jean the late Patrick Eaton, and John Violet Brickler. Also suvived by other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday from 4 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home with Prayer vigil at 5:00 PM. Funeral Services Saturday at 9:45 AM from the Funeral Home to St. Stephen’s Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM Entombment at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Employee of Bucyrus International for over 45 years. A Charter member of Oak Creek Duck’s Unlimited. A special thanks to Dr. Margery Howard, Laura,the St. Luke’s Oncology nurses at the Vince Lomabardi Cancer Clinic and the staff of the 8th floor.
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be,
He closed His arms around you and whispered,
”Come to Me.”
In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken,
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping so peacefully,
free from pain,
we would not wish you back to suffer that again.
So treasure him Lord,
in your garden of rest,
for here on earth,
he was one of the best.
