Left us too soon on April 18, 2011 at the age of 19 years. Beloved daughter of Christa Lewis, MarkKathryn and Jalem Getz. Sister of Monica Hopping and Shannon Callahan. Granddaughter of Michael Lewis and Arthur Goheen. Great-granddaughter of Elaine Lewis. Niece of Jerry Lewis, RogerPaula, JohnLaura, Theresa Canizzaro, Joanne Lewis, Andrea Lewis, MatthewMichelle Goheen and Daniel Goheen. Preceded in death by her grandmother Marilee Lewis, grandparents Robert J. and Geraldine Hopping and uncle Mark Lewis. Also survived by Joshua, Zachary and Aaron Lewis; Grace and Camden Criesco, all of the Hopping cousins, other relatives and numerous friends.
Alex was born on April 23, 1991 in Oakland, California. She moved from California to Wisconsin when she was 7, but always remained a California girl at heart. She looked forward to her summers in California with her father and family, especially her time in the beach town of Bolinas. Alex graduated from Waukesha West High School in 2009. She was a dedicated vegetarian, passionate about the arts & music, and a social butterfly. She was very loving and loyal to all she knew.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday April 25, 2011 at 5:30PM at the FUNERAL HOME. Alex’s family will greet family and friends Monday from 3PM until the time of service 5:30PM.
