Alfred L. LaChapelle “Al”

Born in Marinette, Wisconsin to Alfred and Nina LaChapelle, Al passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2024 age 92 years. Beloved husband of Alice (nee Krier) for 66 years.  Loving dad of Barbara (Kim) Udovich, Dennis LaChapelle, Cheri LaChapelle, Laura (Allen) Blazek and Jeff (the late Cindy) LaChapelle. Proud grandpa of John and Jeremiah Udovich, Rachel (Michael) Martinez, Cheri Hafke, Eric Blazek, Amanda Bilton and Justin LaChapelle.  Great grandpa of Isabella, Tyler and Nathan. Dear brother of Carol Atterberry and Nina Karrels having been preceded in death by Faith Camp and Eugene LaChapelle.  Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Heritage Funeral Home 4800 South 84th Street Greenfield, WI 53228 on Wednesday, January 8 from 9:30-10:45 am.  Memorial service will follow at 11:00 am.

Al was a retired machinist and proudly served in the US Air Force.
