Ferenz, Alice B.

A beautiful lady and wonderful mother found eternal peace on Sept. 12, 2010 at the age of 86.

Alice grew up on a farm near Posen, MI in the 1930s, with her dog “Lady”. She tended to the geese and chickens daily.

During WWII Alice was a “Rosie the Riveter”, doing war work with the Ziegler Co. making rain ponchos for the soldiers and later for GE making engine superchargers for the B-29 bomber. She was a member of the “Greatest Generation.”

In the 1950s and 1960s Alice was the best homemaker, providing a wonderful childhood for her son, Michael. During the Vietnam War Alice supported her son and three of his high school friends with regular care packages.

The last 25 yrs. Alice has been an avid supporter of the U.S. Bids for the “America’s Cup”.

Loving wife of the late Bruno and survived by her devoted son Michael. Alice is now with her best friend and sister Janet.
