Died peacefully November 5, 2013 at the age of 93. Beloved daughter of the late Frances and Walter Budny. Dear sister of Bernard (Frances) Budny. Preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony (Clara), Dr. Clement (Dolores), John (Frances), and her loving sisters Charlotte (Rhine) Anderson, Cecelia (Lester) Buboltz and Eleanor (Sigmund) Adamiak. Cherished aunt, godmother, mentor, colleague, and special friend to those who knew her. During her 50 year career, Alice was an administrator and Medical Assistant in clinical practice. As a tri-level charter member and past president of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA, WSMA, GMMA), she traveled nationally and internationally to deliver speeches, participate in seminars, and, on occasion, offer testimony before Congress on questions of professional practice and national healthcare. Visitation Thursday, Nov. 14, 9:00–10:15 AM at ST. MARY PARISH CHURCH, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave., Hales Corners. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM. Interment at St. Adalbert’s. We wish to thank Alina, Angelina, Judi H., Tatum, and Vicki for their kindness. We offer our special thanks to Christine Finn, RN, for her gentle care, constant support, fierce professionalism, and good humor. Our deepest gratitude goes to Alice’s great-nephew Bryan Venné. His unwavering commitment, compassion, care, and love brought Alice immeasurable comfort and peace. Memorials appreciated, in lieu of flowers, for charitable contribution to be determined by the family.
