(nee Kuehn) Formerly Thorpe. Went home to the Lord on Thursday Jan 23, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of late Ralph D. Klappa and Fred E. Thorpe. Loving mother of Frederick “Rick” Thorpe and Rebecca “Becky” Thorpe. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation Tuesday at CHRIST EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2235 W. Greenfield Ave. from 12-2PM with a Funeral Service at 2PM. Interment Highland Memorial Park. If so desired memorials to Christ Ev. Lutheran Church appreciated. Special thank you to all those who provided their tender care and comfort to Mom in her final days.
