Allan A.
Lindsay

Allan passed away on Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at the age of 73 after a short, but intense battle with brain cancer. He was the loving husband of Diane for over 42 years, and a dear father to Christina and Caitlin. Brother of Stacia(Edward) Carter and Mara(Glenn) Davis. Brother-in-Law of Ivor(Serene) and Sandra Cadiramen. Son-in-Law to Daphne Cadiramen. Preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Lavania Lindsay and his sister Vania Meyer. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends throughout the world.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 18th from 10-12PM at Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church, 8675 S. 13th St. A Funeral Service will follow at 12PM.

Allan worked in technology and engineering at General Motors, Greendale School District, and Northwestern Mutual, but his passion was mentoring and supporting others. He showcased this purpose through his roles in the United Methodist Church including Kenwood, Oak Creek Community, and through serving as a foster parent. Allan could always be found with a book or a camera in his hand, but his greatest joy in life was watching his daughters grow to be strong independent women.

    Diane
I’m sorry to hear of Allan’s passing. It must have been a difficult time for all of you.
Though it’s been almost 20 years since Allan and I worked together, I remember him as extremely competent and personable in working with our clients. And he talked so fondly of you and the girls.
    My thoughts are with you.
