November 15, 2012, age 81. Loving Husband of Gloria A. nee Curzon. Father of Beth Thomas Collins, Pamela Robinson, and Karen Craig Schultz. Grandfather of Eric Melissa, Matthew Jenny, and Renee Collins, James Patti, Melissa, Caleb Heather, and Christina Robinson, and Michael Baugh. Great Grandfather of Nate, Amara, Isaiah, and Paxton. Also survived by his sister Dorothy Traver. Preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Gertrude, sister Lucille Kolden, son Kim, and granddaughter Ann Marie.

Visitation Sunday, November 18th, 2012, from 1pm to 3pm, at THE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral service to follow at 3pm. Interment at Forest Hill Memorial Park Monday, November 19th. Please meet at THE FUNERAL HOME at 11:30am Monday for prayers before processing for burial at 12pm.

Alvin was an avid card player, and will be missed at his “Mens’ Group” breakfast socials. Alvin’s family would like to extend thanks to Tammy Matson for her kindness and help as a special caregiver, and also to the Wheaton Franciscan Franklin Hospital staff for their kindness, commitment, and care of Al.
