February 5, 2009. A decorated American soldier is laid to rest and born to eternal life at the age of 88. He is preceded in death by his beloved, Leona Barczak and eldest son James A. Orban. Grieving theloss of their father are his children, Mary E. Dalton, Jerry R. Lani Orban Lieutenant Colonel, US Army Retired and his grandson, Brian P. Dalton.
Andrew retired from the US Army in 1965 after serving his country with distinction and honor for more than 20 years earning the Silver Star, Purple Heart and may other awards in hard fought campaigns in the Pacific during WWII, in Korea and as an advisor in Vietnam. Private services were held.
