April 7, 1936 – January 22, 2025

Angel Otero, 88, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025. Born on April 7, 1936, in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico, Angel lived a life marked by service, dedication, and love.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Angel served his country with honor. After his military service, he worked in various capacities before retiring as a Milwaukee County bus driver after a long and distinguished career. Angel was known for his hard work, his quick sense of humor, and, above all, his deep devotion to his family. He always carried in his heart a steadfast commitment to ensuring that everyone around him was going to be okay, offering comfort and support in every way he could.

He is survived by his daughter Nancy Brunette, daughter Pamela Martinez (husband Filo), son Kelly Brunette (wife Maria), and daughter Linda Mercado (husband Anthony). He was a loving grandfather to seven grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to fourteen great-grandchildren.

Angel now joins his beloved wife and daughter in eternal rest, reunited in heaven. His memory will forever remain a source of inspiration and comfort to his family and all who knew him. Rest in peace, Angel. Your love, care, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who cherished you.
