Anne Frances Lucas
died Friday August 10, 2001 at Burlington Memorial Hospital at the age of 89 years. Born November 10, 1911 to parents Anthony Kushner and Elizabeth Kushnernee Kandrichin Windburn, Penn. Anne attended school in Windburn, Penn. and graduated from Nurses School in Chicago, IL. On July 8, 1928 Anne married her groom Thomas Lucas in Chicago, IL. After they were married they lived in Chicago and have lived in East Troy for 27 years. Anne was an LPN at Mother Cabrini Hospital. She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society at St. Peter’s, Nurses Association, Senior Citizen’s Group of East Troy, and taught CCD at St. Peter’s.
Anne is survived by 5 sons: ThomasBernadetteof North Brook, IL, JohnPat of East Troy, JamesChrista of East Troy, GeorgeLorraine of East Troy, and WilliamMaryAnn of Darien, IL. Anne is also survived by loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Anne is preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 brother Peter, and two sisters, Elizabeth and Mary.
Visitation will be held on Monday August 13th from 4-7 PM with Vigil Service at 5:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home-East Troy, and Tuesday August 14th from 10-11 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Father Louis Luljak officiating. Internment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated. A Special Thank You to Kiwanis Manor for their grateful, loving care of Anne for the past year and a half.
