Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community (9520 W. Forest Home Ave.) from 9:30AM-10:30AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM. Entombment Arlington Park Cemetery.

Arlene Elizabeth Ritchie of Greenfield, Wisconsin was born to eternal life on her 96th birthday, January 19, 2022.   Born to the late Frank and Elizabeth Carey (nee Fleace) on January 19, 1926 in the Township of Lebanon, Wisconsin where she grew up on her parent’s farm along with her three sisters.  She married the late Kenneth Ritchie and relocated to Milwaukee where they raised their three children.    Arlene worked for Curtis Industries in Milwaukee retiring after 30 years of service.  During those busy years of raising a family and working, Arlene looked most forward to weekend getaways on her parents’ land where she and her sisters and their families spent time together.  These fun memories remain with her children and grandchildren she deeply loved.   Family and friends looked forward to her baked goods which she so generously shared along with her infectious smile. When in her own home, she created a flower garden which passersby would comment on its beauty.  Arlene’s commitment to her Catholic faith was exemplified in her life and to all who knew her.   She will be deeply missed.

 

Arlene is survived by her three children: Suzanne (the late Carl) Giaimo, David (Deb) Ritchie, Rose Marie (Paul) Kinowski; four grandchildren Theresa (John) Gorraiz , Jennifer (Johnny) Bautista, Aaron (Mollie) Ritchie, Kathryn (Gabe) Benavides; 13 great grandchildren Joseph, Abigail, Zachary, Madeline, and Charlotte Gorraiz, Anthony, Carmella and Jonah Bautista, Adaline, Eloise and Abel Ritchie, Jayden King and Jacob Saffell.  She is also survived by her sister Rose Fulcer of Appleton, WI and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Lucille Pohlman and Bernice Nesbitt, granddaughter Jessica King and Kenneth Ritchie.

 

Visitation will be held Monday, January 24 at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community in Hales Corners (9250 West Forest Home Ave., 53130) from 9:30 until the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30.

Private committal at Arlington Cemetery.

    Dear Katie and family, I am so sorry for your loss. May you hearts and minds be filled with wonderful memories and peace. These times are so hard, but know that there are many people standing by to support or just listen should you need it.
