Passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late John O. Kurer. Loving mother of Karen (Mike) Jacobi, Kay (Joe) Gregorich, Sandra Manfrin (Kimm Mann). Dear grandmother of Tobi Jacobi (Ed Lessor), Rob (Sarah) Jacobi, Sarah (Steve) Weyers, John (Raluca) Jacobi, Kimberly Jacobi, Tyler Manfrin, and the late Samantha Roddy. 11 Great-Grandchildren. Sister of the late Lenora (the late Herman) Wollman, Eugenia (the late Robert) Zahn. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Arlene was a very active member at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, especially the Ladies Aid Group. Arlene was also an avid Milwaukee Braves/Brewers fan, attending many games at County Stadium and Miller Park, and scoring games at home for as long as she was able to.
A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home (4800 S. 84th St.) on Tuesday, April 27, from 11-1pm with a funeral service at 1pm. Burial to immediately follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
