Jan. 18, 2015, Age 82. Born May 31, 1932. Beloved wife of Ted Scher. Mother of Shari (Suzanne Clark) Fessler, David (Mary) Scher and Dawn (Joe) Thomae. Proud grandmother of Nicole (Ben) Hubing, Abigail Scher, Kayla Fessler, Alexandra Thomae, and Jacob Thomae. Great-grandmother of Samuel Hubing. Dear sister of Joanne Fry. Fierce advocate of women’s rights, education, politics and local artists. May her body and mind finally be at peace.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Aviva’s memory can be made to the Milwaukee Public Museum’s Spark! program, an educational and sharing program for people in the early- to mid-stages of memory loss and their caregivers .
