Barb was a very devoted Christian and member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Muskego for the last 31 years. Previous to that she was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Allis.   Even in her last few months, she continued to use every opportunity available to spread the word of her Loving Savior. This included telling her doctors, nurses, and many caregivers how important God was in her life, and why He should be important in theirs. Barb’s first job right out of high school was at Rexnord in Milwaukee. She worked as a secretary there until she became a mother.  She stayed at home with her 2 children until they were in school.  For the next 23 years, she worked for her best friends at Rallye Productions as a secretary, until she retired. She enjoyed many trips to Florida with her family visiting her mom in St. Pete’s Beach during Thanksgiving time.  She always looked forward to traveling with Jerry to Arkansas to visit their dear friends. After retirement, she developed the love of playing cards with her favorite cousins as well as her lifelong friends. She enjoyed collecting Hummels, Snow Babies, and Andre Birds.  Hallmark movies and gameshows were her favorite TV shows.  Every year for their anniversary, Barb and Jerry would take their annual trip to their most favorite place, Door County. There they loved to shop, view art, eat ice cream for lunch every day, enjoy special dinners out, relax and celebrate the special love and marriage they shared. Besides her loving husband Jerry, the most important thing in her life was her family, and especially her grandkids.  She truly treasured each and every text, phone call, and time spent with each of them. Barb was the most wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She will truly be missed but is finally at peace in her eternal home in Heaven.

If so desired, memorials to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church or Wisconsin Lutheran High School appreciated.
