Bigalke, Barbara “Barb” Elizabeth (nee Glover)

Found peace on Thursday, July 1st 2021, at the age of 70 after a long battle with leukemia. Loving wife of Bill for 52 years. Cherished mom of Patrick and Rob (Dana). Beloved grandma of Ava and Andrew. Will be dearly missed by her sweetie Dude the boxer. Preceded in death by her mother, Emma Shulist. Also survived by many relatives and friends.

Barb was an overall beautiful soul; she was loving kind, considerate, and gentle. Her greatest achievement in life would be raising her sons whom she was very proud of. She enjoyed taking care of her family more than anything and loved to help anyone who was in need. This passion for helping people served her well as she passionately worked at Aurora St. Luke’s as a CNA for 13 years.

Besides helping others, Barb also enjoyed baking, cooking, crafts, knitting, sewing, and gardening. Some of her favorite things were Hostess Susie Q’s and pretty love songs.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home 6615 W. Oklahoma Ave on Friday, July 9th, 2021 from 3pm – 5pm with a memorial service to follow at 5 pm.

I am so sorry for your loss Bigalke Family.

I’ve known Barb for several years through Rob and Patrick. It has been my pleasure to work with her these last few years at FlexScripts Administrators. It was always such joy to see her passion for helping people. She is such a loving, kind, generous person. I will miss her greatly. She left us too early, but we know she is no longer in pain. Love you Barb ! ! ! Heaven just received another angel to watch over us.
