Long time friend of almost 50 years. So many memories of our disco days and our travels – camping, California, Hawaii, and road trips too many to count. I will miss just knowing you are there. With love until we see each other again.

I write this with a ‘lump in my throat’ realizing that we have lost such a wonderful, talented, thoughtful and giving person. I first met Barbara by chance & quite unexpectedly as she served us lunch (at a nearby restaurant) after her recent graduation from dental hygiene school and prior to her very first job (in dentistry) as a new graduate in the early 70’s. She introduced herself and indicated that she was seeking a position in a dental practice so I gave her my business card and told her to give us a call and that was the beginning of her life long professional career….and our friendship. Over the years she shared with us not only her professional skills but also her family, marriage, & a long lasting friendship for which I remain grateful. We have our chance now to say thank you for the many ways you have helped some of us during our time of difficulty.

So now that nothing can any longer be done to keep you with us… and with tears near at hand & a lump in my throat I say, “farewell Barbara”… thanks for the memories and, till we meet again, may you rest in eternal peace.

    Dr. Charles Chenoweth, B.S.,B.S.,DDS.

I was so sad to read about my friend Barb’s passing away. She and I met many years ago at the vet’s office, of all places! After she introduced herself to me, I learned our dogs shared the same medical condition so we had much to talk about. We would meet for coffee or lunch now and again, but lost track of each other as time went on. But Barb’s caring nature has always stayed with me. She was so personable and such a caring person who loved her family dearly. She adored her daughter and wanted the very best in life for her. I have daughters of my own so can relate to that. In fact I was just thinking about her a couple weeks ago…..and now wished I would have reached out to her.

Sending my condolences to each one in your family and hoping your many wonderful and loving memories will stay close at heart, always.

Our family was so very sad to hear of dear Barbara’s passing. We all had the pleasure of sitting in her chair for our dental cleaning. Barbara was a meticulous hygienist and an amazing person. We felt as though we got to know her entire family during our twice a year visits! She spoke so highly of her wonderful husband, Allen, her beautiful daughter Sarah, her sweet dog Muffin and eventually her son-in-law, who she, also, cherished. We felt confident in her practice and and in our dentists, Dr. Karczewski and Dr. Chenoweth, as we knew how much Barbara loved them. The world was truly a better place because of Barbara. She will be sadly missed.

Barb was a tremendous lady….she listened, she cared and was a credit to the words mother, wife and friend. I knew her as being a patient in the dental office where she worked. She always spoke highly of those she worked for…of her family and of her friends. She was devoted, dedicated and one of the kindest people it was ever my pleasure to meet. I looked forward to the times I would see her. She always had a kind and thoughtful word in every situation and she will be missed. May those who loved her find peace.

Barbara was a wonderful lady and great dental hygienist. Loved hearing stories about her family and life as she cleaned my teeth at the dentist office. I missed her when she retired. My thoughts and prayers go out to Al, Sarah and the rest of her family and friends. Heaven gained a good soul. My deepest sympathies. May she rest in peace.
