Because Jesus lives all who put their trust in Him as their Savior will live with Him. That is easy to say but hard to understand at this time! Frieda and I want you to know that we are praying for our Saviors comfort for you and your family at this difficult time. We understand that you are missing Ron, however we pray that he is now in his Saviors arms. This life is a temporary journey for all of us. Death that takes us away from our family and leaves them behind is difficult.
All people are sinners and deserve to die eternally. But Jesus, the perfect Son of God (He was God with us. He came into this earthly world as a child, died, rose from death and ascended into Heaven), came from heaven to take our place. He bore the punishment our sins had earned so that we could be free from the prison of eternal death. The debt of mankind’s sin was far beyond each person’s ability to pay. In love He paid that debt for us with His own blood at Calvary’s cross. His punishment was real, His death was real, and His resurrection and ascension were real and showed us that this man was not an ordinary man. He is the Creator God who made us and everything in this earth man consumes!
This love from our Savior Jesus is a free gift of God’s love, paid for with the precious blood of Jesus.
Prayer:
Joy, hope and comfort is mine, Savior Jesus, knowing that my sins are forgiven and my relationship with God is restored by the blood that you shed on the cross. Keep the pleasures and treasures of this life from replacing my reliance on your great work of redemption. Be with Diane and her family and give them comfort. Amen.
