Oct. 1, 2009 age 92 yrs. Beloved husband of Catherine nee Mulvanny. Dear father of Kathleen Wichman, Tom Wichman and Mary Jo Tom Rademacher. Beloved grandfather of Chiyo Wichman, Taro Wichman, Kelsey Rademacher and Tommy Rademacher. Brother of the late John the late Alice and the late Leo Virginia. Ben is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A WWII Coast Guard veteran, he was skipper of defensive and search and rescue vessels during his enlistment. An avid naturalist and gifted landscape watercolorist, Ben maintained a sharp eye, warm wit and wide ranging creative expression throughout his life. Visitation Tues.
