Of Troy Center found peace Saturday July 6, 2002 at Vintage on the Pond in Delavan at 89 yrs. Born to parents Bernard Gerber and Anna Christina Maria Peterson May 12, 1913 in Rochester, WI. She attended school in Burlington. On June 5, 1934 Bernice married her late husband Albert W. Healey Sr. in Waukegan, IL. She was a lifetime resident of the Troy Center area and spent her time providing a home for her Seven Children. Bernice was a member of the Troy Center United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children: Albert Jr. Joyce of Troy Center, Shirley Edward Etten of Troy Center, Donna Robert Black of Jerome, Mich., Darrel of East Troy, Richard of Troy Center, Kenneth the late Kathleenof Kewaunee, WI, and Dale Sue of East Troy. 19 Grandchildren, 8 Great grandchildren, 2 Brothers in Law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, also survive her.
Visitation will be Tuesday July 9, 2002 from 4-8 PM with a prayer service at 7PM all at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOMES-EAST TROY. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 10, 2002 at 10:30 AM with a visitation from 9:30AM until the time of service, at Troy Center United Methodist Church. Pastor Joan Goebel officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
