Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude. Dear father of Mark (Mary Ellen), Todd (Dawn), David, and Jennifer Tunks. Loving grandfather of Nicholas, Nathan and Lexi. Special ”adopted” grandfather to Joshua, Jacob, Katie, Isaac, and Izzy. Dear friend of Marilyn. Preceded in death by his siblings Mary, Harold, Earl Jr., and Richard. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 12:00 PM at OUR FATHERS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6025 S. 27th St. The Rev. Paul Ficken officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10:30 AM until the time of Service. Interment to follow at Arlington Park Cemetery.
If so desired, memorials to Our Fathers Lutheran Church, the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice appreciated.
My deepest heartfelt condolences with the loss of your loved father, uncle, dear friend. He was a great fishing partner and I will always remember the days we fished on various lakes with the stories we shared together.
