Berta Alicia Mendez

She went home to be with her husband Severino Eleucadio Mejia Mendez (Eli) , son Dan Benjamin and our Lord Jesus Christ on April 6, 2015 at the age of 81 years. She was Born in El Paso Texas and passed away in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She spent time volunteering at : La Casa de Esperanza Waukesha, Wi, Milwaukee Christian center and America Baptist Women’s Ministries.

She is survived by her Brother Samuel Ramirez (Nora) Lakeland Fl, (preceded in death) son, Dan. Children Eliud (Gail), Aaron, Absalom (Mary), Elizabeth (Steven) Belville, Ruben (Selina), Anna (Todd) Slaviero, Israel (Lori) Ruth (Brad) Hayd. Further survived by 32 grand and great grandchildren.

Per her wishes, the family is holding a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations welcome to Iglesia Evangelica Bautista 700 West Madison Street Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53204 a community where Christianity is practiced and she matured as a Christian
