Betty Deusic, born on September 9, 1932, in Huddersfield, England, the daughter of John and Nellie Powell, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024, in Shorehaven, Oconomowoc, at 92. In pursuit of a brighter future, Betty moved to the United States with her husband Petar. Together, they welcomed a beautiful family, including their son Milan and daughter Jacqueline, who later married the loving Peter Gratschmayr. Betty’s career included being a mender at the English textile mill, Allis-Chalmers, and Manor Park, building lasting friendships along the way. Known for her kindness and love of family, Betty also had passions for all things British, line dancing, Royal Rummy, and animals, often supporting local shelters.

Betty will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her Powel and Devusic family, friends, and all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to have her in their lives.

In lieu of flowers, her family kindly requests that donations be made to the Humane Animal Welfare Society – HAWS of Waukesha, an organization that held a special place in her heart.
