Bob
Barsamian
Passed unexpectedly on February 13, 2019 at the age of 59 years. Son of Herbert and Rose Barsamian. Sister of Denise Barsamian. Grandson of Abraham and Karina (nee Kadamian) Barsamian and Sarkis and Sira Baglayan. Also survived by step brothers and sisters, step nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was an avid fisherman who, with three good friends, planned trips to Minnesota’s boundary waters for many years. He always had tall tales of fish lost and wildlife seen. He loved riding his motorcycles and spent many happy hours riding Wisconsin roads. He had an interesting work history. Some of his jobs included working for John’s Manville making foam insulation boards. As well as construction with a friend, their specialty was rough construction of new homes. In his later years he was owner of Barsamian Rug Co. For many years the company was located in Downtown Milwaukee, but the business was forced to close in 2008 after locating to Mequon. He was a technology/computer geek. He loved to game on line as well as build computers from scratch. Bob was a sports fan cheering on the Green Bay Packers and other local sports teams. He was a season ticket holder of the Green Bay Packers for many years, sharing the Lambeau experience with family and friends. Also was involved in fantasy football, joining two leagues and eventually becoming league president. He spent many hours talking sports.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 2nd, at Holy Resurrection Armenian Church (909 Michigan Ave South Milwaukee) starting at 9am followed by a funeral service starting at 12pm.
