In Loving Memory of Brittney A. Bartlett
August 13, 1990 – October 11, 2023
It is with profound sorrow that we share the passing of Brittney A. Bartlett, who departed from this world on October 11, 2023, at the tender age of 33. Brittney was the cherished first-born daughter of the late Bill E. Bartlett and Carolann Matzek. She was the adored stepdaughter of Bruce Matzek and the beloved sister of Brianne and Bridgette Bartlett’s and Bridgettes fiancé Cole Patza. Brittney was also the loving half-sister of the late Shaun E. Bartlett. Her heart overflowed with love for her loyal canine companion, Truffles, her beloved pup of 13 years. Brittney held a special place in her heart for her Aunties, Uncles, and cousins, particularly sharing a deep bond with her Auntie Adele and Uncle Richard Rauen. She loved her extended stepfamily of Chris and Rebecca Reivitis, Andy and Deon Matzek and Leigh and Brent Matzek and all of their families.
Brittney’s life, born on August 13, 1990, was a testament to kindness, warmth, and a genuine spirit that touched the souls of all who knew her. Her infectious laughter illuminated even the darkest days, and her boundless compassion and generosity created ripples of love that reached far and wide. Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void, a testament to the impact of her radiant presence.
She was not only a devoted daughter, sister, but also a caring friend whose love for life was evident in her ability to seize each moment and treasure every relationship. The legacy of Brittney’s love will endure through the countless cherished memories shared with family and friends.
A celebration of Brittney’s extraordinary life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, to honor her memory. Visitation will be from 1:00PM – 4:00PM, followed by a service at 4:00PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME 4800 S. 84th St. Greenfield.
