Carl worked at astronautics Corporation of America for 51 years and was planning to retire in September 2019. He enjoyed working and often said it kept him young and moving. He loved his family and grandchildren fiercely. He was the true patriarch of our family. He had the stature of The original grumpy old man and Archie Bunker rolled into one, but for those who knew him he was a teddy bear at heart, kind, loving and generous. In his younger days he enjoyed hunting, camping and golf outings with his wife Jackie, his friends, the Boy Scouting crew and his kids. In his recent years he loved vacationing with his family, spending his weekends at the cottage having a good bonfire, fishing pole in the channel and relaxing. He was known to frequent Walters on North, Franks Place and Springbrook taverns sitting in his corner chair having a whiskey and water with bitters and chatting a good debate. He was a wealth of knowledge with a sense of humor. His favorite saying was “life don’t get no better than this”. He will be Forever in our hearts and will be missed greatly.

Carl was a kind gentle man. He had a great sense of humor, always had a great smile. He will be missed, many prayers for the entire family. Walters will never be the same.
