Carl was a nice man in the “bearing world”! He always treated us fairly and in a way that was “old school”. He was pleasure to work with as a competitor. He understood the principle of hard work and what it meant to be an independent bearing distributor in the world of the big guys. He will be missed.

I met Carl when I became working in sales at Milwaukee Belt-Tech Company in 1982. Carl and his partners at Allied Bearing were old friends of my dad going back to the days of Badger Bearing. Carl was a true gentleman. He was always professional, patient, and anxious to share a laugh. He was one of the most knowledgeable guys I have ever met in the industry. I was completely confident when referring customers to Carl or partnering with him on a project. I especially enjoyed discussing politics with him.

My condolences to Jeff and Vicki and Carl’s co-workers at Allied Bearing. I will miss Carl as a friend and business associate.
