Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer and Parkinsons on Monday, April 18, 2016, age 78 years. Beloved husband of Dianne (nee Januchowski). Loving father of Andrew and Jason. Also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends and his beloved 4 legged friend, Holly.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 24 at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Prayer vigil will be held at 7:30 PM. A second visitation will be held on Monday, April 25, from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave, with the Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
Mr. Volkoff was an employee of Allis-Chalmers where he served as a respected superintendent for 29 years. He was a proud member of the Army Reserves for six years, an enthusiastic softball player, an avid bowler, a vintage Cadillac enthusiast and many will remember him as a well loved, respected and occaisionally feared bartender at Porky’s Tavern.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Michael J. Fox Parkinsons Association or Milwaukee Humane Society would be appreciated.
