Was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at age 87. Loving wife of Donald. Beloved mother of Kurt (Jeanne), Craig (Brooke), and Kent (Bonnie). Loving grandma of Jonathon, Kimberly Rauld, Christine, Keturah, Caleb, Aislyn Mildenhall, Brynli Tattersall, and Tristan Moser. Great grandma to Eden, Jack Rauld, Jase Rauld, and Kaden Rauld, Daphne Tattersall, and McKinley Moser. Dear sister to Dorothy Hohner and Ron Schmidt. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Clara (nee Novachek) Schmidt; her parents-in-law, Clarence and Alma, and her siblings, Richard and Robert Schmidt.
She was a lifetime member of First German Lutheran Church in Manitowoc, WI, and while she lived in Milwaukee, she was a member at Grace Lutheran Church.
Carolyn enjoyed her time volunteering at Repeat Performance Store in Manitowoc.
A memorial visitation will take place on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 10 am – 11 am at GRACE LUTHERAN CHURCH (1209 N Broadway Milwaukee) with a memorial service to follow at 11 am.
