Cecilia Javner (nee:Pocian) 86 years of age, passed away Tuesday September 14, 2021 surrounded by family.
Survived by her loving children: Theresa (James) Lawrence of Oak Creek; Barbara (Eric) Elster of Oak Creek; Michael Hoover (Kathy Matson) of Edgerton, MN; Alan Hoover (Kellee Ridge) of Lyons, NE; Norma Kirschbaum of Racine; Ninette Anderson of Slayton, MN; Noreen Javner of Lismore, MN; John Javner of Hardwick, MN.
Devoted Grandmother to: Jennifer (Jason) Lawrence-O’Hearn, James (Angela) Lawrence, Charles (Angela) Mitchell, Candice (Carl) Wilson, Amanda Elster, Aaron Elster, Amilyn Stingl, Zachary Kiedrowski, Richard Stockton-Hoover, Kelly Kirschbaum, Eleni Aslanoglou, Kerassia Cecilia Aslanoglou, Anna Aslanoglou, Keith Javner, Nicolette Anderson, Joseph Anderson, William Anderson, Bradley Javner, Katie Galer, Cody Galer, Chelsey (Daniel) Steinwand, Dalton Javner, Chandra Javner.
Cecilia will be deeply missed by her thirty great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Cecilia was born the eleventh child of John and Pearl Pocian. She was an avid reader of mysteries, loved crocheting, knitting, cross stitching and crafting gifts for her family. Musically she played guitar, singing in a country band in the 60’s. She was a patient teacher of crocheting, keyboarding and card games to her grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her loving parents John and Pearl; brothers Adam, August, Anthony, Albert, Charles, Vincent and James; sisters Veronica, Louise, Maryanne. Also her first husband Edward F. Hoover and second husband Norman K. Javner.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, October 16, at Heritage Funeral Home (9200 S. 27th St. Oak Creek) from 12-2pm with a funeral ceremony to follow at 2pm.
Cecilia’s family would like to thank the staff members of St. Luke’s South Shore Hospital of Cudahy, Season’s Hospice and Davita Dialysis of Pipestone MN and Racine WI.
