Died peacefully Thursday, February 26, 2009, age 70. Loving and devoted husband of Joyce nee Scholz. Proud and dear father of Joe Cupertino and Mary Pat Robb Fischer. Fond brother-in-law of Carol Joe Gresser, Beverly, Fern, and Linda Cupertino. Preceded in death by parents Dan and Mary Cupertino, his sister Anita Joe Giallanza, and brothers John Tillie, Leonard Stella, Anthony Marianne, Paul, Phillip, Daniel, Richard Joyce, Thomas, and Eugene Cupertino. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Tuesday 5 – 8 pm at the Funeral Home with a Vigil Service at 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. Gregory the Great Church, S. 63rd and W. Oklahoma Ave. MEET AT THE CHURCH

Past president of IAM Lodge 339. Former employee of Murphy Diesel and MPS. Charlie was an avid Muskie fisherman and sportsman. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Vincent DePaul Society c/o St. Gregory the Great Church appreciated. A special thanks to the staff at Maple Ridge and Ruth Hospice.
