Feb. 10, 2010 age 79 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Josephine nee Nauman. Dear father of Corrine Kay Thompson and Jeff Erickson of Aberdeen, SD and Thomas Jana Thompson of Ellsworth, WI. Grandfather of Lacie Yager, Miranda, Justin and Kendra Erickson, Erin Yager and Travis and Morgan London, Paige and Andrew Thompson. Great-grandfather of Scott Rakotz, Jacob Krahl, Dylan Thompson, Kayleah Danzman, and Gavin Danzman. Brother of Garland Pat Thompson of Milwaukee. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Sat. April 10, 1:00-2:00 pm with memorial services at 2pm at the funeral home. Charles and his wife loved to travel, was a fan of the old time western movies, and was an avid collector of movies of all types. He retired from Gross Trucking after 34 years of service. When his health was better, he would walk several miles a day, not forgetting his morning stop with the boys for coffee at the local McDonalds.
