Went home to be with Jesus on July 4, 2004, at the age of 98. Devoted Husband of the late Erna. Beloved Father of Marga Bob Kroening and Mary the late Glenn Gray. Proud Grandfather of Scott Melanie Kroening, Jennifer Michael Otto, Heidi Mark Stoeberl, Kathleen Robert Dzekute, 8 Great grandchildren and 3 Step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by Sister-in-law Gertrude Goetsch and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Soenksen was a retired Milwaukee School Board Engineer. Visitation will be Wednesday 5:30-7:00 PM at ST. PAUL’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7821 W. Lincoln Ave. with Funeral Services at 7:00 PM. Private Interment Arlington Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Bethany Nursing Home. Special thanks to the staff at Bethany for the loving care and support you gave to our Father and Grandfather for the last 6 years. Also many thanks to the doctors and staff at Waupaca Hospital for your compassion.
