Christopher “Chris” Lee Wesela Jr. age 33, of Oak Creek, WI passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at home on December 4, 2021 after an acute illness.

Trying to describe Chris’ personality and interests is difficult because he was so multi-faceted. Yes, Chris could be loud, goofy and have no filter, but he was also incredibly smart, compassionate and protective. He was a free-spirit; inquisitive and fearless. He could say and do the most outlandish things and also be the most intelligent and profound.

He previously worked and played hard. He was usually the instigator of unplanned adventures and unexpected shenanigans. Although Chris later struggled with chronic pain and other health issues, his upbeat attitude pushed himself and others to stay motivated. He was always smiling, joking, sharing random knowledge or the latest news and weather updates in-person or online.

Family and friends were most important to Chris. He was a great listener, offered honest advice and would do anything to help. Chris also enjoyed country music and would regularly see his favorite local band “Rebel Grace with BFF Sam. He loved nature, fishing, watching the seasons change and taking beautiful pictures (several of his scenery pictures were shown on local and national sites). Chris adored all animals and was a loving cat dad to Kahluá. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR and NHL hockey.

Chris lived life on his own terms and took responsibility for his decisions. He believed everyone mattered. He was a good friend and confidante to many.

Chris will fondly be remembered by family members, relatives and friends!

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 2-4:30pm with Eulogy from 3-3:30pm at Heritage Funeral Home, 9200 S 27th Street, Oak Creek, WI 53154.
