Christopher R. “Chris” Runge
Passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at the age of 80 with his family by his side. Beloved fiancé of Sharon Gunderman. Loving dad of Tracy (the late Steve) McCann, Darryl (Cindy) Runge, Brent (Joanne) Runge, and Lesley (Dan) Lyrenmann. Dear Grandpa/Papa of Kellie (Raul), Ryan (Becca), Cassidy, Kristin (Kyle), Sean (Amanda), Amanda, Brandon, Delaney, and Lyla. Great Grandpa of Brayton, Cassandra, Patrick, Christopher, Hudson, Ella, Averie. Step brother of Sandi Woodward. Will be missed by his furry companion Amber. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his sister Bonnie (Russ) Hitchcock.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the FUNERAL HOME from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated. Special thanks for the care and compassion of the St. Luke’s CICU staff, especially Nurse Kathy.
Chris enjoyed a career in sales, he loved hunting, gardening, and spending time up north. Most of all he was happy to be around his loving family.
