nee Balcerzak November 30, 2009, 92 years young. Preceded in death and welcomed into eternal life by her loving husband, Michael, son Michael Eileen Maas of Olive Branch, MS, daughter, Carol Fosdick, Tichigan Lake, WI, and great grandchild Jacob Bertling. Survived by devoted daughter, Sharon Drew of Milwaukee; treasured grandchildren Janet Drew, Memphis, TN, Michelle Michael Siegel, Macungie, PA, Jeffrey Drew Dawn Zelinski Middletown, NJ, Kim McNelly Keyes William Viola, WI, and Carrie Fosdick Bertling, Jackson, WI, and 11 cherished great grandchildren, Derick Siegel, Michael, Lauren, Joshua, and Jennnifer McNelly, Cody, Samantha, Benjamin and Ryan Bertling, and Lileah and Gabriel Keys. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Clara was a retiree of the Boston Store where she was a buyer for many, many years. She loved to travel worldwide and enjoyed all types of crafts including knitting, crocheting, embroidery, needlepoint and quilting. Clara minimally made and gave away a hundred afghans in her lifetime, all created with love.
The family especially thanks the staffs of St. Luke’s Family Practice Clinic, St. Ann’s Senior Center, Heritage Square Nursing Home, Aseracare Home and Hospice Care, and Ruth Hospice for their loving care and comfort.
Visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the time of service at 10:30AM, on Friday, December 4, at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5722 S. 58th St. Entombment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, spend more time with your loved ones and send them flowers while they can still enjoy them with you.
