Wayne and I send our condolences to the family. Aunt Clara was my last aunt or uncle still alive and we have to say goodbye to the last of a great generation. I have many great memories of time spent with Aunt Clara and Uncle Bernard (my mother Charlotte’s brother) and fond memories of the beautiful trees in their yard in North Prairie. He invited Wayne and I to come and select a Christmas tree when he learned that we put up a real tree every year. We did this for several years but I remember the first year we got a blue spruce and it was the most beautiful tree we ever had. We still have great memories of the time spent harvesting those trees and visiting with them was the best part.
