Cornelis van Wieringen “Corny” April 29, 2016. Age 84 years. Beloved Husband of the late Margrieta F. van Wieringen nee (Verbeek). Preceded in death by his brother Frank. Loving father of the late Inge van Wieringen, Hilde (David) Staufiger, Wina (Russell) Topel, Richard (Nancy Moser) van Wieringen, Michael van Wieringen, Niels (Laurie) van Wieringen and Sidney van Wieringen. Opa to Laura (Andronico) Guzman, Eric (Monica) Staufiger, Marc (Ally) Staufiger, Scott (Emily)Topel, Cory (Claudia) Topel, the late Jillian Topel, Elizabeth van Wieringen, Nicholas van Wieringen, Justin van Wieringen, Stephanie van Wieringen, Samantha van Wieringen and 11 great – grandchildren. Further survived by his loving companion of 8 years, Nancy Urick and her family. His close friends, Ramon, Marie, Jerry, Jean and Barb. Also survived by his brother Jan and other relatives in the Netherlands and many friends. Active volunteer in the Leukemia Society and the MACC Fund. Mr. van to many Boy and Girl Scouts and a lifelong member of the International Institute. Member of the Racine Senior Card Club. Memorial donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, MACC Fund or Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Private services to be held.
