Craig Alan Baker, born on September 14, 1966, found peace on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the age of 58, after bravely battling the rare heart disease Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM).

Craig retired from Geis Building Products, where he proudly worked as a garage door technician, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication.  Craig had a passion for cars and was incredibly proud of his 1978 Grand Prix, which he rebuilt himself. He enjoyed attending many car shows, where he shared his love for the car and connected with his best friends and fellow enthusiasts.

Craig was the beloved husband of Nancy for over 24 wonderful years. He was a loving father to Matt Ameti and Michael Underberg (Becky Severson), and a cherished brother to Corey Baker (Bobi). He will be deeply missed by his nephews Alex Baker (Holla) and Joey Baker.

Craig was the best son-in-law of Diane Drewitz (the late Edward), and his brothers-in-law: the late Raymond, Cory Smith (Jeri), and Edward Drewitz (Jennifer Muffick). He was a devoted uncle to the late Cody Drewitz, Tyler Drewitz, Noah Smith, Ashley (Andy Mankowski), Lauren, and Logan.  He will also be missed by many dear friends and other relatives.

We will remember Craig’s life at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME with a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, October 8th, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a special Sharing of Memories service at 6:00 p.m.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the Froedtert Heart Team, Horizon Home Care and Hospice, Kathy’s House, and all the nurses and medical professionals who provided compassionate care.
