Passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at the age of 55 years. Loving son of Virginia Davenport (Nee McNamara) and Russell Davenport. Dear brother of Jean Pizur (Pat), Dave Davenport, and Maggi Lubinsky (Mark). Also survived by nephew Timothy, niece Jeni, nephew Dylan, nephew Drew, 4 great nieces/nephews Vivienne, Georgia, Mason, Maverick and other family and friends.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will take place at the FUNERAL HOME on Monday March 4, 2019 from 5-8PM.
Daniel was a loving brother, uncle and avid sports fan who loved his Packers and Brewers. Loved his 80’s and country music as well as his pretty girls. Was always loyal, positive, upbeat and funny and never let his physical handicaps stop him from enjoying life. He had a big heart and was loved by many and will be sadly missed.
Special thanks to the nursing staff on the spinal cord unit at Froedtert Hospital that adopted Dan as family and provided excellent care as well as friendship. Lynn (Raz) Rasmussen and Laura Cross are two that he spoke of often and I know there were many more that he cherished. Also, Neuro ICU nurses Kristen and Amanda, thank you for caring for Dan in his final hours. You made a difference for him and his family.
In addition, thank you to all the staff at Serene Living. To all of his caregivers, we appreciate your care and patience with Dan. Leitha, thank you for your updates and concern. Brian, you really went above and beyond to make sure Dan was comfortable during his time with you.
