Dan will be dearly missed he was a great friend we could talk for hours. we had alot of the same interests I will miss him alot 😢 💔
I still can’t believe it. I have such fond memories of you and I and I still remember the last time we chatted and that was through messenger. Not only did you wish me happy birthday but you also mentioned that it was your mothers birthday too. A few people have reached out to me within the past few days and said that you spoke highly of me and that made me smile. I’m pretty sure you have wanted me too but I took over your scanner page. I miss you so much!!

Daniel was an active member of the Riverside & Great Northern Railway in Wisconsin Dells. He will be missed!
Daniel volunteered for many years with me at the Riverside and Great Northern Preservation Society (aka R&GN), Wisconsin Dells. He was both engineer and conductor, as well as ticket taker for our trains, and also volunteered as security for our booth at the MadCity Train Show. He shared some incredible homemade dishes at our potluck dinners. We have missed him the past several years as he attempted to get past some major health challenges. I hoped to see him collecting tickets at our depot or engineering our trains at some point in the future.
I trust he is now resting in peace.
My sincerest sympathy and prayers to his family and many many friends.
I will never forget you Daniel.
Mary Simerson
