Rusch, Darrell S.,
Born September 18th, 1942 and passed away on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 at the age of 78 years. Brother of Sharon, Brian Rusch, and Sandra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his siblings Mickey and Marlene, and his parents Clifford and Josephine.
Per his wishes a private burial was held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Darrell honorably served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
Darrell’s wishes were for no ceremony or memorials. Sandra is not deceased. If anyone cares, where were you when he was alive? My sister, Marlene never even got cards or gifts on Mother’s day or Christmas. Sad! Now you want to be mentioned in his obituary.
I think some family may be loosing sight that we have suffered the loss of a family member. This is a condolence page that is meant for family and friends to post memories and well wishes on. This should not be used as a forum for family differences. I will miss Uncle Darrell very much. I have many fond memories of spending many Friday’s enjoying a fish fry at Francisco and the countless movie nights my son and I spent with him in his apartment. We lived blocks away from each other and he and my family always remained close.. Uncle every Christmas we always celebrated with you and of course Morgan David! Cheers.! You will be missed
Sorry Heidi. I was having a bad day.. Bad memories and good memories. I am trying to tend to his burial His wishes were to not have any memorials or ceremonies. We paid for his burial. I have his will and that is what he wanted. He probably would not even want this memory page. Thanks, Heidi for what you shared.
