Gill, David A.

Passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 age 85 years. Beloved husband of the late Carol (nee Rein). Loving father of Mark(Barb), Kathleen(Mike) Fritsch, the late Jerome(Kim), Michael(Margaret), the late Paul(Darlynn) and Lisa(the late Ed) Slattery. Preceded in death by his parents Harry and Marie Gill. Further survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday from 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home, vigil service at 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 9 AM at St. Matthias Church, 9306 W. Beloit Rd. (Please meet at church). Private Interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

David was an Air Force Veteran, serving in the Korean War. Worked as a Metallurgist at Maynard Steel, enjoyed doing the Christmas decorations at St. Florian Parish for many years, loved to talk to and help the local shop owners and loved to fish. Memorials to the Gill family appreciated.
