Of Milwaukee passed away after a long illness on Friday, March 18, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Dettlaff). Dear Father of Joyce (Ken), Jackie (Glenn) Seefeldt, Bryan, Janet Haefemeyer and Jennifer (Dennis) Schmid. Proud Grandpa of Melissa (Nick) Bush, Jamie (Jason) Glowing, Jessica (John) Schwark, Andrew (Sara), Eric, Caitlin, Troy, Angela, Justin, Danielle and Josephine. Great Grandpa of Wilhelm, Walter, Samuel, Henry, Isaiah and Clara. Also survived by his sister-in-law Flo Dettlaff, nieces and nephew Diane, Mary and Greg (Lynn) Radspinner, Judy Dickerson, Annie Gombus, Kathy Watts and a host of extended family and friends.

David was a lifelong member of Divine Peace Lutheran Church, 3203 S.76th Street, where a visitation begins at 9:30am Tuesday, March 22 with service to follow at 11:00am. Entombment at Forest Home Cemetery will follow. David retired from Delco Electronics after 37 years of faithful service.
