Dave
David Roman Lewandowski, born on April 11th to the late Roman and Irene Lewandowski, passed away unexpectedly on November 29, 2024, at the age of 63.
His heart, which had given so much love and strength to others, tragically failed him.
A devoted husband, Dave shared 38 extraordinary years with his beloved wife, Jennifer (nee Hernet) Lewandowski. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was the proud and loving father of three sons: Andrew (Shannon), Alex, and Anthony (Georgina).
His heart overflowed with joy for his granddaughter, Ember J. Lewandowski, who brought light and happiness to his world in ways only a grandchild can.
Dave was the cherished brother of Susan (John) Nazario and Debbie Osgood. He also leaves behind a legacy of love in the form of numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
His life was enriched by lifelong friendships with Gary (Kiara) Downs and Mike (Tina) Conley—
bonds that were as unbreakable as they were rare.
For 25 years, Dave proudly worked at CHR-Hansen/Novaneis as a maintenance mechanic. He had an extraordinary knack for fixing anything and everything—a skill that seemed almost magical to those around him. Whether it was a mechanical issue or someone in need of a helping hand,
Dave was always there with a solution.
His passions were as vibrant as his spirit. Dave’s love for motorcycles was second only to his love for his family. Whether he was cruising the open road or simply spending quality time with his loved ones,
he embraced life with boundless enthusiasm and a big heart.
Dave lived fully, gave generously, and loved deeply.
His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void, but his legacy of kindness, strength, and
unwavering support will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He will be missed beyond words.
Ride on, Dave. Your spirit will forever be with us.
So sorry, prayers to you all!
I am so sorry for your loss, haven’t seen him in years, but was always the big brother to us girls in the neighborhood. My condolences to the family. May you find peace and strength in the Lord.

I knew Dave in the 1980s when he worked a young Milwaukee County Lifeguard. He was always a favorite among his peers, a hardworking, dedicated, yet always a fun spirit.
My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends; may Dave’s smile never be forgotten.
So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers for you and your family.

So sorry to hear. Dave was one of the last of the “old guard” on S. 79th St. Condolences to the family.
I will always miss our talks with each other.
