Found peace Sept. 12, 2008 age 67. Loving husband of Cathy. Former husband of Joan. Loving father of Brian Janet Takala and Chris Rod Schroeder. Dear grandpa of Josh, Tory, Ben, Analiese, Tammy and TJ. Beloved brother-in-law of Paul Helkowski, Barbara Guy VanderHeyden, and John Helkowski. Special friend of Donny Stern and long time friend of Bill W. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Dennis will be sadly missed by his faithful companions Mac, Molly, and Maggie.
Visitation will be held Wed. from 5-7 PM at the funeral home with a Memorial Service at 7 PM. Private Interment.
Special thank you to all of the staff at Mercy Health and Rehabilitation Center, and Extendicare for their loving care, compassion, and friendship. Dennis was an avid hunter and motorcyclist. Retired employee of the US Postal Service.
