Diane Blinka

Blinka, Diane (Nee Avakian). Died peacefully at home with her family at age 62 on February 28, 2017.

Loving wife of Daniel David, beloved mother of Daniel John (Ashley), Michael A. (Courtney Hoefler), David S. (Emma Shakeshaft), and Steven M. (Aminta Dang, M.D.). Precious sister of Jan (Richard) Avakian Kopatich and Karen (Karnig) Durgarian. Preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Anne Avakian. Her nieces and nephews will miss her dearly, as will her many friends.

Visitation: Friday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Armenian Apostolic Church, 7825 W Layton Ave, Greenfield, WI 53220.

Funeral mass: Saturday, 11 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Armenian Apostolic Church.

Diane and her family are grateful for the wonderful care she received at the cancer centers at both Froedtert/MCW and Wheaton Franciscan, as well as at Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston).
