Schmitz, Diane Lee
(nee Williams) Entered Eternal Life on November 21, 2016, at the young age of 69. She is survived by her husband of 40+ years Donald, her children Brian (Nicole) Gruber, Dina Gruber, David Schmitz, and Daniel Schmitz. Further survived by her mother Darline (Dan Staral) Nelson, brothers Daniel (Joyce) Williams, Michael Nelson, and granddaughter Sophie Gruber. Further survived by many dear other family members, friends, and her beloved “fur babies” – Trixie and Daisy. Preceded in death by her grandparents Albert and Margaret Schaefer and step-father Roland Nelson.

Diane grew up in Milwaukee and worked at various companies – Miller Brewing, Marc’s Big Boy, Klemmer’s, Landmark Resort in Door County, M&I Data, and Fiserv. She enjoyed crochet, various arts and crafts, reading, and spending time with family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, from 10 AM – 12 PM (Noon), at the funeral home with a Funeral Service to follow. Entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
